Candle lamps made in a variety of woods. The choice is yours. My favourite, for example is a top and bottom section made from any choice of Hard wood with a middle section made from a nut called a Banksia nut. This grows in Australia. These lamps consist of wooden surround with a brass tube with spring insert which will advance the candle as it burns; the candles burn at a slow rate and all the wax is burnt and ordinary household candles used. (No wax residue left after burning as is the case with ordinary Candle burning). These lamps are fitted with kite marked glass chimneys, which are for oil-burning lamps and so are safe for use with candles.
Price from £45 (dependant on size and wood used)
Also made are smaller versions of the lamps but minus the brass sleeves. These lamps are for use with any standard nightlight candle with kite marked glass chimneys. These are also made from a variety of woods and can also incorporate the Banksia nut. (Ideal for use at the table, for that intimate dinner for two)
