Chris Thomas
Chris has been living and working around Lampeter all his life. Having been interested in woodworking since his school days he decided in 1997 to take up woodturning Professionally. Chris displays his work in the Ceredigion area throughout the year and can be found regularly at the local Farmers market in Lampeter. This is held next to the Somerfield Store in Lampeter every fortnight.

Chris' business has expanded rapidly, not only throughout his native Country of Wales but he also frequently works on international commissions. Countries include America, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Ireland and Spain. Commissions comprise of small presents and/or keepsakes of Wales to larger products. All items are marked with wood species and also a stamp of the Welsh Dragon.

Chris uses seasoned indigenous locally grown hardwoods, some of which are named below; Oak, Ash, Sycamore, Beech, Spalted Beech, Holly and of course his favourite Yew. He maintains a stock of Foreign woods also turned include Bubinga , Padauck, Pau Rosa, Panga Panga,  Tanga Tanga.
